Harold Ross has enjoyed a 40-year photography career, beginning with a focus on fine art and a degree from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. For over 30 of those years, he owned a studio that produced images for advertising. During this time, Harold practiced and perfected his Light Painting methods, which became his exclusive method of lighting.   Harold is a firm believer in the transformative power of light. He aims to reveal aspects of his subjects that are often overlooked under standard lighting conditions. Jean-Marc Legentil will give a presentation entitled "Inside the Mind of a CAPA Judge". By the end of the presentation you will be able to: - Understand the three CAPA judging criteria - Distinguish a beautiful photograph from a competition photograph - Understand why certain images receive scores of 7, 8, 9, 10. - Understand how judges determine the winning photographs   Jean-Marc is a Montreal based photographer, educator and CAPA-certified judge. Passionate about visual storytelling and helping photographers elevate their vision.

Bob Hills is a retired high-tech executive who has discovered a deep passion for photography and digital art. Bobs works centers on three distinct facets: -Creatively capturing images in-camera, -Artistically processing those images to create more expressive pieces of artwork, and -Teaching others how to achieve similar results   He frequently incorporates multiple exposures, intentional blur, and innovative image processing techniques to move beyond traditional photography and create more interpretive, expressive images.
