Membership
The Montreal Camera Club, founded in 1892 and registered in 1893, continues to attract photographers from all walks of life who come together to share their common interest in photography.
The MCC one of the oldest clubs in Canada and is a member of both the Canadian Association of Photographic Art (CAPA) and Société de promotion de photographie du Québec (SPPQ). Photographers of all skill levels are welcome.
Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings from September through May and are conducted either online and in-person in the hall of the Westmount Park United Church (corner of Lansdowne and de Maisonneuve West in Westmount, walking distance from Vendome metro station.
Membership offers members the opportunity to participate in many organized outings, club competitions, and challenges, as well as to enjoy the online presentations of guest speakers at our club and those of our sister club, the Lakeshore Camera club. MCC members may also enter their images in CAPA and SPPQ club competitions.
The in-person meetings and outings are an excellent way to meet and share tips and ideas with your fellow photo enthusiasts.
